Itasca & Koochiching County Aging Resource Guide

• Supporting Family Caregivers

  - Caregiving Consulting

will provide family caregivers

a personalized service that

equips family caregivers with

knowledge, skills and tools to

achieve a balanced lifestyle,

while caring for a loved

one. The goal is to promote

resilience and empower

the caregiver. The caregiver

specialist assists caregivers

in identifying needs and

values, facilitates goal-setting

and development of person-

centered plans, and provides

ongoing coaching and support

to reach these goals.

• Bone Builders (SAIL)

 classes empower you

to prevent or reverse

osteoporosis. Guided by

trained volunteers 55+,

these stretching and weight

training exercises can build

physical strength, improve

balance and mobility, and

revitalize your energy. These

free, twice-a-week classes are

offered throughout Itasca and

Koochiching Counties.
